Avion frame

1984 -Avion thirty footer. Does this model have a full perimeter frame or does it have outriggers like an Airstream? Can't seem to find pictures.

That Avion frame will consist of three 2"x6" box steel members running the length of the trailer and I think some 2"x4" box added in the wheel area. Across and out from that are some cross members that are metal. I would guess the outermost pieces are heavier than what Airstream uses. There is no "frame flex" compared to AS. On the lower edge between those outer cross members is a wrapped sheet of aluminum that goes under the trailer and is fastened to the outer two 2"x6" frame members.
Avion used those gaps between the cross members for storage compartments.

So it does have outriggers? How far in is the longitudinal frame member from the outer skin? Is it the one the suspension is mounted on?

Here is a 70's Avion frame. I believe 80's Avions have the same frame.

Thanks, great picture, exactly what I needed. Only makes sense it would look like this.
