I have had a couple of such contractions (they might be smaller, not sure). My friend suggested applying a sealer (of the same color) to cover those. Maybe you want to try that route.

The floor is vinyl. It acclimated for at least a week before I installed it. I kept a small heater on late this fall until late December when we left for our trip...no problems with shrinkage. No more heater now & it has shrunk.

Given you let it acclimate and probably didn't do the install during major temp swings, it could be the flooring lacks stability and won't do well outside certain temperatures. If that's the case, I'd suspect the gaps close up when temps rise.

A few updates on the Avion 32S.....

I put a spacer in the floor by the bathroom. This was the longest run of the planks & I can now just shove them back into place if they contract. It works. I'd rather not have it, but it's easier than replacing the entire thing!Click image for larger version

I put up some new backsplashes in the bathroom & galley. I used plastic sheets that I bought from Menards & Home Depot. Super easy to do & not too expensive!Click image for larger version

Pulled the vinyl off the entry door & polished it. Put new screens & baby proofed the screen door. That sure came in handy with the grandkiddos!!Click image for larger version

I put all new stainless latches on the compartments & replaced all the rusty screws behind the rubrail with stainless ones. A new plastic rubrail was installed. All I have to do is Everbrite the bottom.

And then this happened......

Camping with family & I heard a giant "Crack" up in the trees. A tree split at the crotch & fell not 50 feet from my grandchildren, daughter & grandneices who were playing games at a picnic table. So thankful to God that none of them were hurt or killed! The tree limb was 65' long and about 24-30" in diameter. But my trailer did get some damage. That will be fixed and surely can't compare with the lives of my loved ones. Sure puts things into perspective! It's just one more thing to take care of....I'll be having this job done by Chuck Cayo who is an Avion guru.

My pics posted sideways & somewhat out of order....maybe a mod can spin them....

Glad it's no worse. I figure that (giant tree limb) or fire is what would end my possession of a particular trailer.

Countertop side trim

Hi Becky, where did you get these metal trim for your avion bath counter top?

Thanks
Andy
So moving on, I've started with the windows. I'm replacing the rubber seals & cleaning them up. Such a tedious job, but they look so much better when they're finished. The caulk factor is pretty bad, but it's coming along.

Today was too hot to work on the windows, so I finished up the counter top in the bathroom.
.

Nice job on your Avion.

I rebuilt my 1969 C-11 about 12 years ago.

I am now rebuilding my 1988 34’ Avion.

Where did you get your aluminum refrigerator vent?
