Anyone want to rescue a 1957 Trotwood?

Noticed this rarity at the back of an upholstery shop today in Long Beach CA. The owner asked if I knew anyone who might want to buy it. So I thought of you all because I think old cool trailers should be rescued and loved.

I couldn't find this exact model online, but the owner says it's a 1957. PM me if you are at all interested and I'll give you the owner's contact info.

It sure looks to be in good condition for a '57, both inside and out. The wood in the photos appears to have no water damage, which is rare for any trailer of that age, and especially the caned ham types such as that is.

I too would like to see it go to a loving home. Not mine, I am too old to take on those types of projects anymore, but someone needs it.

Great trailer, never seen one before. I want a heater like that for my Airstream! I'm tired of the noise and current draw of my furnace. The Airstreams from the early to late 50's had those.

I grew up close to Trotwood in Dayton Ohio. Never knew they made trailers there.
Very cool...love the rear door / front door..good air flow..
Too many projects though.

Panel-Ray heaters were in wide use in 'fifties trailers. They can really put out the heat, but they need to vent through the roof -- it's a big hole! -- and unlike modern RV furnaces (such the Suburban) you need fresh airing the trailer by opening at least a window, for they consume oxygen like nobody's business.. They do restore nicely!
