age on an Avion Trailer

looked at an older trailer today down the road...

Avion.... plate at door says FH-28024 T-28


looked over the avion model page and can not narrow down the year.... unless i missed something

This would be my guess for you…

Based on the Avion Model Page by Dr. G, I think it is a 1967. It is the only year that has a T-28 model (Travelcader) and the serial numbers start with 28000. So, I think yours was the 24th that year.

Also, there is a 1967 brochure and it shows that model had 2 versions: either a sofa in the front or a dinette, both converted to a sleeping bed. Quite a fun read! http://avion.gradeless.com/brochure/...s_Brochure.pdf

So, the "FH" instead of a "67" at the front of your serial number is still a bit of a mystery to me, but I'm sure it meant something… Maybe Dr. G would know, he's good to respond to emails.
