I've had some time in the evenings to get some more interior work done.
I started on the doors for the upper cabinets. I wanted to keep with the black, white and silver so I decided on black Lexan sliding doors. I cut the tracks out of hardwood and fitted the first set of doors in the cabinet above the sink, (it's a little hard to see because of them being black).
I had planned for a divider between the upper and lower cabinets on the curb side for a little more privacy in the bedroom. I cut a 1/4" piece of clear Lexan to fit, then applied a decorative film before installing.
When replacing the original fiberglass end caps with aluminum I ran a
12v line to center over the window, not really sure what I was going to do with it at that time. Last week I came up with a piece that would serve three purposes, a shelf, a valance for the window shade or curtain and lighting with LED strips. Built out of hardwood, aluminum and Lexan and it fits right in. Im so pleased with it a second one is being made for the roadside window to tie in the front area.
I picked up a cool aluminum 50's Pepsi cooler that will feel right at home in the Travelux.
