Weight update

Found the weight for the 21' Alumacoach Centenial Cruiser listed conviniently at the back of my manual...lol. Anyhow, they have a dry weight of 4250 lbs, or about 1927 kilograms. Other specs: 21' in length, 93" in width, overall height 98", 77" of interior headroom, and a tongue weight of 450 lbs, or 204 kgs. I have plenty more bits of trivial info about frame construction and interior electrics (no diagrams, unfortunately), but our scanner is on the fritz so I'm not able to post any of it just yet.

Aluma Coach Centenial Cruiser

just purchased an Aluma Coach Centennial Cruiser, it is all original and we were able to tow it 2 hours home on some rather rough looking tires.
The title says it is a 1971 model. number on back is 0009.
It still has all the original cabinets and furniture. Bathroom has shower tub combo and original hot water heat etc...
Air-conditioner works but haven't tested the other appliances.
All windows and screens are in place as well as front window shield.
Will post pics when it stops snowing here!
Does anyone know the aprox value?

Here is the Aluma Coach I purchased recently and am wondering about value.
Everything is original and intact, but I would like to reupholster and put in new linoleum. Would this decrease the value?

That looks like a really clean trailer. It appears that the frames are built more like an Avion than an Airstream. I don't think putting in a new interior will hurt the value. Avacado Green hasn't been popular since the 1970s. I have no idea what color it is, but 70's colors do nothing for me.

I have just purchased an Alumacoach! It is a 21 foot model # 0021. I am excited to get to work on restoring it to at least working condition.

The out side is in decent shape but the inside has been taken apart and it leaks around the AC unit. If there is any one in the Vancouver area with one in decent shape i would love to see it.

Does anyone know how many were made ( sounds like around 40 ) and how many are left? By my count on this post only # 9, #12, #29 and my #21.

Thanks
Darren

I purchased mine last year and it is in very good original condition. #0012
I am still working on making new curtains, painting the cabinets and putting in new linoleum as funds allow.
I purchased this trailer to use as a guest casita and don't plan on traveling in it, although with new tires it would do fine.
I cold send you pics before remodel if you would like.
We live in Hood River, Oregon so probably too far to come see.

Serial number location

I have a 14 foot AlumaCoach. The original invoice seeems to indicate a serial number 103. Where can I locate the serial number on the trailer?

Hi bridor15

I haven't found a serial # plate on mine yet, I have AC0021 on the back of mine. All of the other stickers have been removed but if I look close I can see where they were down the side. Can you see any numbers on the back or signs that there were some there before?

I don't have my invoice just the manual and registration papers.

I wonder if they made as many as 103!

Hi All,

My wife and I recently found and bought AC 0029. It is a 30' Alumacoach in beautiful condition. Currently, we have it parked in heated garage and giving it much needed love. Pictures to follow once presentable...

We're absolutely stoked...!

Hi Magoolucky. The 14ft Alumacoach came with electric brakes. So, unless someone has replaced the entire axle/brake components, the brakes should be there and can be wired to the 7 pin harness. BTW - which if the 14 ft units do you have? I owned a 14 ft (Cecelia) for a number of years and sold her in 2017. She had electric brakes. At that time I was only aware of one other 14ft still on the road down in the Fraser Valley area (has a red stripe on the side).
