More before and after pics.
These pictures of the finished couch and sealed vented battery box. Evelyn didn't come with a battery or battery box but she has one now.the in the floor for the vent tube had been sealed up with about an inch of silicone.
The battery box I purchased didn't make a lot of since top and bottom having a 2 inch vent hole. I vented through the floor using the original hole and sealed the top hole.

I thought I recognized this trailer.

I've about decided that if a rear bedroom TT isn't available at the time I buy (near future) then a double bed model will suffice.

By the way, OP, what is the length on an AVION double bed?

.

It loos really nice inside, live the floors, just wondering if you removed the cabinets to do the floor.

Hey Veggie Bullet
Thanks for the kind words. I did install the flooring under the gaucho but not under any of the cabinets. Way too much work for me.

Evelyn is at her new home in Phoenix. So funny to find a thread on the exact trailer you buy after you buy it, and neat to see what's been done! She tows well and we had no problems with the relocation. Will post pics soon, and I'm sure my DH and I will be on the forums with plenty of questions.
We've camped for years in a 17' fiberglass Casita, and I owned a couple old 18' Airstreams many years ago, but this is the most trailer that either of us have dealt with.

So far Evelyn has gotten a new showerhead, new battery, new power cord, and a lot of thrift store "stuff" such as TV trays, coffee pot, funky coffee cups and the like. We took her camping the past two days at McDowell Mountain Regional park near Fountain Hills for a shake out trip.
One thing we found was a water leak in what we THINK is a pressure regulator. We took it to a couple RV shops who had no idea what it is; so we disassembled it, cleaned it, and put it back in, but it still leaks. It's got a spring and diaphragm inside and is located near the hot water heater on the inside. Attached picture.....object in question is the blue thing.
Anyone know where one can acquire one of these, or if we can just bypass it if we use a pressure regulator when attached to city water? Does the dc water pump require a regulator? Or is this thing something different altogether?
Thanks for any info!

Sorry, I have no idea what that thing is or where to find a new one. Hopefully someone will chime in with some info.

We finally called Watts and sent them pictures, and they say it is a gas pressure regulator that someone put in there. Anyway, good to know it's nothing that we can't live without.
Next up is the 40 year old bathroom fan; got one on the way. And here's a picture of Evelyn out camping last week. We painted the propane tanks to match the trailer.

We like her....especially my husband who felt too cramped in my old Casita!

Another project is to tint the windows, but my first attempt was disasterous. Thanks for all the work you put into her, and I'll keep you up to date on what we do with her....whether you want to know or not....LOL.

I bet it will really look nice with tinted windows and should help a bunch with your warm weather.
Please keep me updated,

Does the door clear the awning in the picture?
I think the awning will go higher if you need more clearance for the door.

The door did not clear the awning....we figured that was why it had the wheel on it.
We tried to get it higher but haven't figured out how yet. As far as I could push the awning up, I couldn't find another hole to anchor it up.

It should go up another notch for sure. I think Zip Dee has a video on how to properly open the awning. I had to watch a couple times.
Keep trying you'll get it.
