1968 Ken Craft 26'...
Howdy!
Last week I picked up this 68 Ken Craft. The previous owner took really good care of her, it's all original except for an updated AC. She purchased it in 1994 from the original owner who had it custom built. The trailer is stored in AZ but I brought the couches home with me and it appears that the original upholstery was still intact under the covers.
I've been searching everywhere but can't find any info on these trailers. Only thing I found is an old ad. This is my first vintage trailer so I'm sure I'll be asking a ton of questions. Any help would be appreciated!

I have never heard of or seen one of those before.
Is that plaid what was under the floral covers? Hard to imagine that the trailer would have all pink appliances and trim and a brown and orange plaid - however the time frame is just on the edge of the '70's... I like pink but my husband will not allow anything pink to be put in our trailer...
The wood inside is quite nice and it looks like it's been well maintained. Is the floor original? It looks like those tiles could be stick 'ems.
Congrats!

There's not much information on this brand but it appears that the Ken-Craft brand was one of several trailer companies owned by the Midas Corp. of Chicago.

Besides Ken-Craft the other reported brands listed under the Midas umbrella include Frolic, Travel Master, Midas Minni MoHo's, and Volunteer Travel Trailers. Word is that Midas International was bought by Pepsi in the 70's.

Looks heavy. It'd probably make a nice park model. No parks around here that'd let me park it.

That plaid was under the floral covers yeah. Hard to tell from the crappy photos, but it's not pink. The kitchen tiles are yellow/white two tone, appliances are brown. The floor is stick 'ems, but the original floor is under them.

It is heavy! Cast iron tub and toilet. Everything is custom and beefed up. Previous owner told me that when she first bought it she couldn't tow it with her half ton Suburban and had to get a dually to move it. As of now I'm keeping it at the campground where I vacation in AZ on the Colorado River. Later on when I get it more "road worthy" I can pull it with my 3/4 ton diesel.
