I tried an old-school 1141 and that's not the right size. Anybody else know what size bulb might go in the porch lite? Maybe it's one of the small 120V bulbs, Xmas light size?

More progress today. Had Bruce come out to try to fix the plumbing issues. I say try because he was nice enough to convince me to just replace it all with Pex. Which I will do tomorrow.
If you're in Portland and need help on an old RV, I can highly recommend Bruce ( RV Repair Portland, OR - Bruce's Mobile RV Service 503-775-9190). No affiliation, just a happy camper.
While he was out here I had him pressure test the propane system, and it's leak free. He also helped me get the over lit and the fridge running on propane, so at this point all our propane appliances (except the light, need a new mantle) are working. Whoo hoo!
Before he came out I managed to get the water heater lit without singing off what little hair I have left. I also got the furnace to light, but couldn't get the fan to kick on. That's a job for tomorrow as well.
I also spent an hour cleaning out all the kitchen drawers while I watched my 18-month old destroy our kitchen. Totally worth it.
So a little plumbing work, a little more cleaning, and we're ready to roll.

It is a small dc bulb, #57, with two tabs. It was easy removing mine to check but I had to stop and take a few deep breathes before I finally got it to go back in (small space and fat fingers). You will align the tabs between you and the camper so that one will be close to you and the other close to the camper. Once inplace you'll rotate the bulb clockwise to get it to lock.

I'm overdue for a longer update, but I did figure out that the porch light is a standard night light sized bulb. So its 120v on ours and currently working!
I'm in the midddle of replacing all the plumbing and will update soon.

More progress this weekend. I spent about 3 hours cleaning the awning, which is a job I hope I don't have to repeat anytime soon. A bunch of Simple Green and a long handled scrub brush got most of the nastiness off. It was still wet when I unrolled it, and was starting to mildew in places. So we let it dry thoroughly before rolling up again. We also figured out how to assemble it, as the original instruction sticker is missing key words. It's a Carter Super Shade, probably mid-1970's, so finding instructions has been nearly impossible. Anyway, at least it's clean enough to use this summer, and maybe over the winter we will replace the fabric, or at least sew up the splits at the top.
I also scored a few deals at the local Rebuilding Center. 3 low-flow (1.5gpm) faucet screens for $2. 2 CFC lightbulbs at $2 each, and a glass globe for $1. Unfortunately the opening on the globe is too big and it won't work in the trailer, so back it goes!
I also finished attaching the new plumbing to the trailer so it doesn't crack and leak, but no photos. Just happy to be done with plumbing for now!

We don't have a driveway (note how high our yard is of the street) but do have a corner lot, so lots of street parking. Unfortunately we can't leave the trailer on the street for too long or we'll eventually get a tow notice.

Its 2016, and much Thanks to all for your direction. I just purchased a 1966 Streamline Countess, and being my first vintage project, I will so appreciate all the shared knowledge from this site. Cheers, Paul

Hi Paul,
I'm rather new here myself, and I'm in the process of acquiring a '64 Countess. Although you've found a good resource for help with your project, I think that you might receive a better response if you start your own thread in the Vintage Kin forum:
