1947 Westwood Tahoe

I will be picking up my latest find this week end. Its a 1947 Westwood Tahoe. I am pretty excited to go get it. I was not really looking for a camper but when this one presented its self I could not pass it up. What are the odds of coming across one again that is close enough for me to go and pick up in a day? Here are the pictures.

You lucky Dog

That Westwood is beautiful! Hard to find...impossible to find like that one. Take care of it.

Wow. That is an exceptional find. Looks like it could use just a little TLC, but what wouldn't being born in 1947.

Sprouty beautiful trailer! I've been restoring a 58 AS Traveler. But after a being a spectator at a few Rallies I knew I needed a wooden interior. Not that I don't love my AS...... But I found a 1949 Westcraft Tahoe Trolly top. Wish it's interior looked like yours! Finishing the AS before I touch the Tahoe. Then........ I'll have to make a decision which to keep. Post on what you're doing.

Awesome find!

Wow Steve - that is a great! Boy, you find the best trailers. I don't think that it's true that you are going to "thin" the collection for the new one coming along .

Congrats and can't wait to hear more about it and see more pics!

You might be right I like all of them! I am waiting on a contractor to come in and put some gravel down behind my shop so I can park all my treasures
in a nice organized spot out of the way. I have been selling off other automobile projects as well to make room.

I love the wood as well. Right now I am tiring to get my shop ready for winter and getting ready to start work on the 47 liner I sold. The new owner wants me to do some work on it for him which may evolve into a full restoration so my projects will have to wait for a while.
