I'm so happy for you Zep, you finally have a place to park your F-16.
What are you going to do for armament?

No weapons except my antique keepsakes. I am now a peacenik, mostly.

I've also given up on jets. To expensive to operate. Marty and I are hoping to build the Pipistrel Sinus, a side-by-side powered glider with a 30:1 glide ratio. Our hangar, as big as it is, isn't big enough to build the wing, so we've got a classmate who has a longer shop where we can put the 49' 1-1/2" wing together.

Onward and upward!

Zep

Kip, these are wonderful pictures!

All,
For those of you who are not aviators, 1,000 AGL is 1,000 feet above ground level. In this case, sea level is ground level since they're over the ocean. If they were flying 1,000' above a 14,000' mountain, they would still be at 1,000' AGL, but at an altitude of 15,000' MSL (above mean sea level).

Do you want to patch the belly pan or replace? You can also do a google search here on the forums as there are a couple of belly pan replacements on the same year GT that you are working on, currently in progress

Hi Aerowood from Arvada,

I had to chuckle. The wife and I wonder about those polluted plums you are analyzing from your aircraft. I'm glad you are keeping them out of the stores. I don't want to eat any polluted plums! I didn't know they grew plums in the winter.

The big power plant in the town north of here really spews a big plume of water vapor on these cold days. You can see if for miles.

I can't wait until Zep replies to your post!

I wonder if your airplane is real noisy? Looking at that huge turboprop spinning in your photo reminds me of the old Beech King Air we use to fly for business. Nice airplane, but noisy noisy!

David

'71 Globetrotter Full Monte

Well it was early when I wrote the post

Our C-130 is not exactly quite either, but if there's any noise complaints, the military in the area will take the rap
