I think you're teasing us. In post 1430 you've quoted your post 1423.

In post 1423, I see a very bright light above some grass between the front of an Airstream and the back of what appears to be a gold SUV.

All of this appears to be on a very dark night. The file name that shows up is some Airforums generated stuff. I'll take your word that it is somewhere in Ontario.

Below is what I see.

Yes, dark, cold, but convenient because I needed some parts. Post 76 may help. Jim

Well, based on your hints only, I'd say my best guess is that your at Can-AM RV or perhaps close by.

I'd also say perhaps one reason Msmoto's picture are better might be that she takes them in the daylight.

Yes. ha,ha. I also think that skill has a lot to do with it. Yes, I took the photo in Can Am's parking lot. I live about 1.5 hrs from London and if I need something for the Airstream, I will call them on Thursday and will leave after dinner on Friday night and boon dock so that I can get the item on Saturday morning. Works efficiently for me. Not so good for Arctic Fox. I picked up some Hensley parts this AM that I wanted prior to my next outing to Florida and the place was really busy. There were 5 units out front that were most likely being dropped off for winterizing and storage. I winterized mine last weekend so it was a quick trip this morning, Jeep only.
Your prize? How about something that is Silver and Gold? Naw, I think you may already have it. No prize then. But you win. Jim

Skill is definitely part of it, but alone it does not make a pleasing image. You must have the artistic talent to compose the picture. I understand the functions of my camera quite well. However I do not have the ability to judge what will result in a pleasant image.

For example, I thought this would be a really cute baboon picture.

We can see both.

All we need to do is pop that into google and Voila! -- it tells us where it is.

Ken
No Google needed when you've been to Snappy Lunch as many times as I have. Had to look at the photo again cause I didn't even notice all the info you pointed out as being there. Must be a Carolina thing.............

MsMoto, I'll take you up on the espresso. Thanks.

So, has no one looked at post #1429, or has this thread turned into an exclusive "members only" thread?

What aren't you a member of?
I looked at it and actually tried to find it, but gave up.
And I'm the guy that lived in the northwest for 50 years.

Perhaps it is the Parking lot at:

https://www.newbergoregon.gov/newber...viation-museum

After reviewing your photo again, and having found this sighting in my cache, I have decided that there is nothing wrong with it.

That's it, Ken. You win the prize, whatever it is. Now see that was lots easier than a lighted unreadable sign in a dark parking lot, wasn't it?

We drove through Newberg in early September with the idea we'd go see the museum later, However we did not get a chance. However that's a whole 'nother long story.

Post 1424. Way too vague. Outlet Mall, Niagra Falls, next to the QEW.

Another one of the Prairie Schooner II at work. JimAttachment 228290

My first guess was Whitehorse, Yukon. That was not it. I googled it and found it. Too easy and unethical to spill the beans So I will keep my mouth shut Eh.

I would say you are parked at the curb across from the parking lot here.

I wish I could get back down there next summer?

Yes. Perfect Dave. It is only 7 days from your neck of the woods and you could check out the White Horse along the way. Jim

How many times have I been by that location and never stopped or knew it was there.

We usually make our stop in Portage la Prairie traveling east, so have missed that rest stop. Next time for sure!!!!

All these little tips on places to go and stop at. Keep them coming! I hope to have some new ones for next season?
