You're right. It shares some views that are similar to the Grand Canyon but one giveaway is the road that runs along the edge and is also seen further down in the view shown.

#1021--That's the White Rim Trail down below, and I'm guessing you took the picture from Grand View Point or thereabouts, but it may have been Dead Horse Point. The White Rim Trail is a hundred-mile jeep trail that requires four-wheel drive, but is quite comfortable on a mountain bike. Typically a two- or three-night venture.

That has to be Crabtree Falls in Virginia, or is it North Carolina. A bit foggy on that.

You're right, 1027 is Mackinac Island, in Lake Huron just off shore from Mackinaw City, both pronounced the same.
BTW, correcting my reply in 1034, Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA is pictured in #1026.

So this is a view from a really good, but dilapidated restaurant that shares the same name as the island it's on. Lot's of beer and good sea food, not too far from a huge county park with great RV camping facilities and a very old and very famous coastal city in the South. Name the island.

Incredible!! Actually you're both correct. The restaurant, Bowen's Island Restaurant is on ... Bowen's Island, SC. So Steve, you deserve a "golden attaboy". Sunnygirl is also correct, James Island County Park is nearby and only a few miles away from Charleston. Looking in the opposite direction from the picture, we saw the sunset shown here. It was a great evening with friends.
