Looks like Anza-Borrego Desert State Park at the height of the bloom.

The flowers look like Tall Buttercups. They are classified as noxious weeds, at least in the west. I'm guessing these pictures were taken somewhere in Montana or northern Idaho. Outside of that I have no clue.

That is most likely true and that makes your fellow Texan very astute. Not every bridge is saved from the scrap yard, but this bridge, one of the original bridges across the Suwannee River is special since it helps the State of Florida remind not only Floridians, but also tourists like me, of another previous existence, Way Down upon the Suwannee River. The yellow wildflowers are predominately Goldfields with Coreopsis. This is Federal land.

This was an interesting puzzle. The 1st photo sure looked like a bridge and my 1st thought was who would ever stop on a bridge to take a picture? But there were a couple of things the didn't seem right about this bridge.... In the bottom right of the photo, it looked like grass was growing up to the edge of the pavement and there was the faint outline of braces extending away from the backside of the bridge. Bridges of this design should have had a matching side with the criss cross structure extending over the top to it and that was obviously missing. If it wasn't a bridge, what was it??? Now that it's been solved, it all makes sense. Kudos on the stumper.

OK,
They must look like this up close. Now, I change my guess to somewhere in California. I still have no idea where.

I'll bet someone should recognize this one. Do you know what its unofficial name was?

That's it! If I remember correctly it was his plane when he was Vice President and after he became President, he wanted to keep it. I believe it was able to land on his airstrip at his ranch.

Where Is This?
A couple of hints to start this one off. It is in Texas, but not near Route 66. Looking for the name of the town. You probably have to be from there to know how to pronounce it.
