It often troubles me what billionaires choose to do with their money.

As I read this, he bought a place that the public could enjoy. and is now moving the buildings to his private ranch for his own enjoyment.

I guess he could tear up the rails and make andirons for his fireplace. That must be the Royal Gorge.

You were stumping me when you were posting places in New Mexico

You've got the right state, and probably thinking of the right place, However that's the wrong name. This park is further south than Sunset beach.

I was surprised to learn Royal Gorge Bridge was built as a tourist attraction not for traffic, although you can drive across it. It is the highest suspension bridge in the world.

Speaking of the filthy rich who have more money than brains. What famous historical bridge was across the big pond? Bought by Daddy Warbucks, and moved? Where was it originally? Where is it now? and, what was the colossal boo boo?

The pictures did not show here.

You must be talking about the London Bridge which was purchased and moved to Lake Havasu, AZ. The boo boo you mention is probably the story that the developer of lake Havasu thought he was buying the famous Tower Bridge. He denies this, but who wouldn't?

That is correct.

That whole area is a great place to visit. Sunset Beach is one of my favorite places on the coast.

Not me either. If one just clicks and pastes pictures from the INTERNET, they generally will not continue to show because of copywrite issues. If you use pictures off your computer there should be no problem.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.

Keep the pictures coming.

Dave

It is "like a façade", and looks the same from both sides, but not part of a movie set, to my knowledge. It's primarily an attraction, but they do frequently have weddings there.

OK, time for another hint....although it looks like a church, it's actually part of something totally the opposite.
