Now you have me Ken. I have seen that Buffalo on I 25 but I was thinking the coyote was on I 80. I can't exactly pinpoint it at the moment.
Can anyone else confirm this?

Hey Dennis. Yes that was quite an interesting little town. We had lunch right across the street. Good hamburgers. It was on our trip from Glacier NP heading towards Yellowstone summer '12.

Fraser Valley:
The Fraser Valley is the verdant agricultural belt that extends from the outskirts of Vancouver's eastern suburbs to Hope. Urban foodies call it the city's "Chef's Garden." The valley produces strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, produce, dairy products, mushrooms, and poultry. In the last ten years, the Langley area has become noted for its cottage wineries. Langley is also known as the horse capital of B.C. Many equestrian-related disciplines are rooted there.

Some farms have embraced agri-tourism, and have opened stores featuring highly-specialized products like gourmet cheese, fancy preserves, etc. The epitome of this would have to be Langley's Krause Berry Farms and Estate Winery. They have taken country-glam to the max!

Patos, Saturna, Mayne, Galiano:
Part of B.C.'s Gulf Island chain. The Southern Islands are in the U.S. and are called the San Juan Islands. The islands are quaint and beautiful, but the RV ferry rates are high, and the line-ups may be long in the summer. I don't think many of them even have RV parks, as the islands are home to a lot of old hippies/greenies. An RV park would qualify as a NIMBY.
I would recommend parking at the RV park in S. Delta, unhooking, then taking the tow vehicle to Mayne Island.

Abbotsford International:
My favourite airport because it is small and reminds me of the way airports used to be.....when DC-3s ruled the sky! You can still grab an old-fashioned cup of coffee and plunk yourself down in front of a big window and watch the planes land and take off.....every two hours or so. They only time they have more than 100 people there at any given time is during the airshow, or when His Holiness visited in 1984!

You are correct FLY. One of the 'must visit' areas of this continent.
This was our 2009 Tour when we got to visit long lost friends and family on the east coast.
We want to spend some more time in that area, but it is a long drive and its hard to be away from family for those extended trips.

I lived in Halifax for a few years so Peggy's Cove was a go to place on Sundays after tourist season. It was nice to watch the Atlantic misbehave while chowing down on one of their really good hamburgers. Second only to the hamburgers from the Chicken Burger in Bedford. I had to chuckle when I saw the photo because in my bookcase behind my desk where I am sitting is a photo of the lighthouse that they sell in the souvenir shop. Man, an Airstream sure shrinks this country! Jim

Your "misbehaving" ocean gave me an idea for another submission. Will do - later.

I recognized Peggy's Cove immediately because I had a figurine of the lighthouse on my bookcase for years. I gave it away to a friend after her husband died; they had spent the early years of their marriage there. I liked her husband.

*Thread hijack spoiler* But geesh.....he was barely gone when she was swinging off the arm of another guy. Frankly, I did not like that, and had some regrets about giving my collectible away. I think a widow/widower should show some respect and lay low for awhile. But, that's just me. Old-fashioned, I guess. So, that is why massey's photo resurrected some mixed feelings, personally and collectively. The latter refers to the terrible Swiss Air crash.

However, I would like to Airstream to the Maritimes someday.

I still have a score to settle with those truckers.

The 'howlin coyote' is on I-80 in Nebraska as you approach the Wyoming border. The Buffalo is in Wyoming on I-25 about 5 miles north of the Colorado border.
