Another hint: Birthplace of the fellow that was key to putting Edmonton on the sports map.

This will be more of a local downtown shot. You have to get off the highway to see some great stuff.
You saw this as you drove thru town.

Known to some as home of an inventor of something you use everyday many times.

Look at the telephone booth for a hint.

I don't remember seeing that. It must be along the north shore of the St. Lawrence?
We need another hint.

Your phone booth hint and knowing that Alexander Graham Bell lived in Brantford reminded me of the time I was looking for a new pair of boots at a Tack shop on Colborne St in Brantford and then stumbling across this flea market that needed visiting. My wife found a handbag in there which meant I didn't get my boots. She owes me big time. Thanks for the memory. Jim

Again you are a winner Jim.

Home of Cockshut and Massey Harris, Alex. Bell, and Wayne Gretzky.

They might even still have those boots Jim!

We stopped at the Feightliner just a block away for a routine service in fall of 2011.

Posts #74 and #76 remain unsolved and maybe require more hints to refresh someones memory.

Here is a another 'one of kind' that you will recognize if you have been there.

It should need no other hint other than we are traveling northbound?

Never go here without your sunglasses. Have you been here????

This is the last of the easy questions. Everything gets more difficult from here on.

Great! Can't wait. We go in April. Got a note from service that said something like - we have a huge waiting area and pets are welcome! Can't wait for the recliner upgrade, warranty work and tour - to say nothing of camping at the mothership! I'm getting all geeked out! :-)

Just last week saw a TV special on the Mackinaw bridge. Quite a structure but it was just a guess. Thanks for the great PIX

Fun thread, I'll try this landmark.

Clues.

1. East of the Mississippi.
2. Has the same name as a more well known similar (?) site.
3. Cannot be seen from the road.

I'm requiring that the state is part of the correct answer. Pic's are of the same landmark, just different views.

Enjoyed your well-written recollection. Thanks so much.
