I guess I missed it Ken. Sideling Tunnel on the old Pennsylvania Turnpike is correct. You're cooking on the big burner

This is Bishop Castle. It is being constructed by a single man. It is west of Colorado City, CO in the mountains on Hwy 165. I have never visited myself. I have always intended to, but it is in an out of the way location about a 4 hour drive from where I live. We never seem to go south through that general area when we are not in a hurry to get to some destination. If you go the official website and open the about tab, you will read the story of how it came to be and how even today it is a work in progress.

This lighthouse is in the Northeast. Where is it, and what is it's name?

Here is a video about Jim Bishop. He is as much an attraction as his castle he built himself. He is harmless, but if you decide to go you might want to leave the kids behind.

My kids are in their forties, they have to explain offensive stuff to me.
(unless I have access to Urban Dictionary)

Time to awaken the thread again.
I can't seem to get away from the light house theme.

This one is in the Northwest.

One shot below is an aerial shot (I used my jet pack)
The one with the branches is taken from the shore.

What is the name of the lighthouse?
What is the name of the island?

Would it be Tatoosh Island Lighthouse? I have never seen it when using my jetpack.

You have the name of the island correct. The lighthouse, for some non logical reason, is named for the adjacent mainland feature.

My bad.

You got it correct first.

I saw on the portal that Dave had replied, so I clicked the symbol next to his ID which took me directly to his post and put your post off the screen.

So I guess the answer to your question is; no I couldn't see it.

good night all, Susan has to be at work early in the AM, so we are turning in already.
