Where Is It?

A picturesque tourist destination stop on the right coast.

Peggy's Cove, NS.

A beautiful place, marred by tragedy.

You are correct FLY. One of the 'must visit' areas of this continent.
This was our 2009 Tour when we got to visit long lost friends and family on the east coast.
We want to spend some more time in that area, but it is a long drive and its hard to be away from family for those extended trips.

Good one FAN,
I lived in Halifax for a few years so Peggy's Cove was a go to place on Sundays after tourist season. It was nice to watch the Atlantic misbehave while chowing down on one of their really good hamburgers. Second only to the hamburgers from the Chicken Burger in Bedford. I had to chuckle when I saw the photo because in my bookcase behind my desk where I am sitting is a photo of the lighthouse that they sell in the souvenir shop. Man, an Airstream sure shrinks this country! Jim

yum, I like hamburgers.

Your "misbehaving" ocean gave me an idea for another submission. Will do - later.

I recognized Peggy's Cove immediately because I had a figurine of the lighthouse on my bookcase for years. I gave it away to a friend after her husband died; they had spent the early years of their marriage there. I liked her husband.

*Thread hijack spoiler* But geesh.....he was barely gone when she was swinging off the arm of another guy. Frankly, I did not like that, and had some regrets about giving my collectible away. I think a widow/widower should show some respect and lay low for awhile. But, that's just me. Old-fashioned, I guess. So, that is why massey's photo resurrected some mixed feelings, personally and collectively. The latter refers to the terrible Swiss Air crash.

However, I would like to Airstream to the Maritimes someday.

I still have a score to settle with those truckers.

Obviously I have not been there Jim? Have you got another picture close to the same area that might jog our memory?

My hint is ambiguous, but there is a connection, and based on one of your photos, I think you have been passed there. Also, I made an ambiguous reference to the location in the caption thread. Jim

The 'howlin coyote' is on I-80 in Nebraska as you approach the Wyoming border. The Buffalo is in Wyoming on I-25 about 5 miles north of the Colorado border.

You are correct. Thanks for the help as I was having difficulty getting that howling coyote in my sights.
The street view confirms this here. I believe it is just west of I 80 exit 38, between Kimball and Sidney.
