WOW! Thanks for the link. The places and people and fur babies and colors and Airstreams are wonderful. I am seeing so much white or grey outdoors this burst of travel and fun and great shots filled with color and beauty is a real treat. I am definitely going back to take a much longer look and enjoy each one!

Janet, those pictures of Terry's are wonderful. Have you had them printed as enlargements? The lighting is fantastic. The Big Sur must be a great place to be. We are going to get there some day, mark my words... Thanks for posting.
Bob, Fado sure has a nice little enclosure with an umbrella to keep the sun off. LOL I love the pictures. Glad you looked some up. Is the vintage trailer one in your family? i like the family shots. Can't wait until the family (ours) can get out together and camp.

Cool, Steve, a smorgasbord of all things Airstream. I love it. Going to get a beverage and settle in to delight the senses. This is the kind of winter pick-me-up I think alot of us could use right now. Thank you.

The easiest way I think is to scroll down in the reply window and click on manage attachments. In the pop-up window you will see browse button in the top right. Just navigate to a picture on your hard drive and upload. PM me if that doesn't do it for you.

Thank you everyone, I read all the instructions you wrote in and I finally did it RIGHT this time. This is a painting I did called "White Ledge Peak." It is of the Haley Ranch in Ojai where I live. Lake Casitas is just to the left of the photo, you can even see a bit of Santa Ana Road on the left of the painting. There was a big show that I was invited to try out for, I had just had my entire back reconstructed and had come home in a body cast, but I wanted to be in the show so I worked from photographs that I had taken. Did the whole painting in 4 days which is a minor miracle for me since I am usually so slow. I emailed the photo to the owner of the gallery and he said I could be in the show...I was so excited that the day before the show I drove by the ranch. The big gate was open, so I drove in. I found Mr. Haley on a horse. I told him I had just done the most beautiful painting of his ranch and would he like to see a photo of it. He got off the horse and sat down to talk to me. I think he must have liked the painting because the next day he was the first person to come to the show. I had told Arturo, the gallery owner what I did and he looked at me like I was some nut case, but then I saw the big truck pulling into the driveway of the gallery. Mr. Haley bought the painting, I nearly fainted and Arturo learned to trust me after that. Now I even work for him when he needs a break, I am pretty good at selling other people's art work too.
That's the story that goes with this painting!

Don't Want to Blow.....

Thanks Danalee,
Well so far I didn't blow up the trailer, myself or Oak View. I shut the gas off, everyone thought that might be a good idea. I even wrote myself a note so I would not turn it back on by mistake. It still is not fixed, but I am trying to be patient. It sure is cold here, the thermometer says 40 degrees and I think it must be colder since my fingers feel like popsicles right now.....I know someone will show up to take a look when they have some time, but I am OK.

Hopefully now, some people know the whole story.
I still need to thank them for all their help,
I mean who wants to stick their neck out for someone who is acting like a nut?

Hey,
I just noticed something, this thread was started by both of us. Carol and Carol. Does that make us gallery owners? If so, we would be the biggest gallery owners in the world. Do you know how many people have Airstreams? And of course we all like to take pictures of them! Now if we could just figure out a way to sell the photos, we would be rich..........

PS Pretty funny, huh?

Dog days
Another painting of mine. This is the first big landscape I ever did. I didn't even know how to paint, but one day after I had back surgery I went to the store to get groceries, when I was ready to go home, a little voice said, "Doesn't that lady who gives lessons live around here?" I had frozen stuff in the car so I thought I better just go home, but.....Well I can tell you the rest of the story later. Here is a photo of the painting that started my new career.

Cool Carol! Yes let's be rich but I would say from looking at your paintings you are rich in the beauty that you see and share. I love the paintings of the landscapes. That is what I try to capture with a camera and you can do it from memory on canvas stroke by loving stroke. You're a wonderful artist. Hope to see more of your work!! I went to the link of the gallery and was awestruck by your talent. I also have enjoyed your writing skills on the couple of stories you have told us.
Bob "kool school" keep those pictures coming and I keep hoping to find something interesting from my hard disks...I might have to bring out the scanner and keepsake boxes, lol!

Very cool,
I saw something that made me laugh today,
I took a picture of it,
I was thinking about having fun.
I don't even have to think about how to have fun,
it just seems to find me wherever I go....
FUNNY, HUH?
Here is a definition of it just in case anyone wanted to know:
To make it even easier,
I took a photo….
Hope you can see
it..

Carol I bet that really makes the days brighter to have such a good outlook on life. Fun and laughter is the medicine we all could use more of!! I bet those two fur babies of yours are an endless source of pleasure for you. They sure are beautiful and from the bear story, protection as well as affectionate companions.

Hi Bill, I like your Motorhome that's a long one! I wonder what the floorplan is. The colorful graphics really look sharp around the aluminum. Nice big windows too. If you can post some interior pictures that would be neat to peek inside too. I like your avatar picture.
If you would like to make a gallery here on Air Forums this is copied from the FAQ section.

All these cool dudes, Mike and Bob, in Ray Bans and I wish I could find a picture or two, I'm still looking...actually having some fun... see there it is Carol Clark having fun looking at some old pictures on the various drives. Meanwhile I found these from New Years Day 2005 in Amarillo Texas at the Big Texan.
