View from your house.

Hi, at my previous house our Airstream could be seen from our kitchen window. [actually, totally blocked it] In our new house, from a bedroom window, [my computer room] you can see the rear of my trailer. What can you share with us?

Can't compete with "Fly at Night", but this is the view out our back window, and if you look real hard, you can see the Airstream back there.

Hi, no room for an airplane next to my house; Tight enough just for my Airstream.

Hi, if you look real hard, I see room for my trailer in there too. Do you have full hook ups?

I wish I did, Bob. I do have a 30 amp outlet back there, can get a water hose to the trailer, and do have room for another trailer on the driveway, so come on by.

Airstream Pool House

We don't camp in the summer since my wife can't deal with the heat after Cancer years ago and subsequent chemo, so we use our Caravel as pool house April thru October.

Depends on where it is parked- the front, the back, the way back, or the way way back-
The front- I can see the Airstream from the east kitchen window or the south back door, and it is about all I see from there-
The back- I can see the Airstream from the west bedroom window-
The way back- is really a utility easement/right of way that I keep mowed- I can see the front half of the Airstream from the west bedroom window- the back half is hidden by the shed-
The way way back- is really a funeral home parking lot next to the shed where they store caskets- I can see the roof of the Airstream over the fence from the west bedroom window-
It will probably spend more time in the way way back- easier access coming and going, no backing- surrounded by concrete, no tracking mud/sand/grave in when loading/unloading/winterizing- a fence on the north side side next to the bank and a shed on the south side next to the casket storage shed- I may go in halves with the funeral home owner to build a shelter between the fence and the shed-

I'm too lazy right now to take a photo, but I can see ours from the master bathroom window or the garage' side door. I don't have the space for a fighter plane, but sure would like a space ship.

Ours also serves as a spare bedroom. Sometimes we use it to get away from our guests. Once we lock ourselves in, they eventually leave. If they don't leave, we do—with the spare bedroom.

A year ago, before we had beds in the new house (except for the master bedroom), we put friends in the trailer. The first night they nearly froze. The heat registers had closed themselves and no heat was getting through. I opened the registers and they survived another couple of nights. The furnace had burned a lot of propane trying to warm up the trailer. I assume leaks in the ducts heated the water tanks, the bathroom (regisiter there does not close) and not much else.

The Millennium Falcon would fit in the funeral home parking lot. That would be cool. Or an X-wing fighter or a T. I. E. Fighter-

That looks like a very cool and inviting place. The flamingos are a great touch.

These are the views out our kitchen windows roughly a year ago - the morning of December 31 - quite a difference so far this year - a lot colder then .....

If you are looking closely at the thermometer and don't see any red in the column then that means your eyes are OK ..... but check the bottom of the thermometer ..... the piece below -40 degrees .....
