Excellent. Where does the reactor end, and your rig begin?

Thank you all for your submissions to September's Photo Contest "Perspective". I've really enjoyed curating the contest. Airstream owners are a creative bunch, and I'm so glad we like to take our trailers off the beaten path.
While Peanut's Horton submission gets an honorable mention for tugging at my heart-strings...

I love how the way the trailer is parked makes it look like a factory-installed option.
In fact, I think based on Lumatic's three excellent submissions, we have a sympatico eye for that kind of thing (I'd love to see more!). And I can't wait to what they decide to do with October's contest.
Thank you to ALL who submitted great photos. On to October. Keep camping 'til your pipes freeze, I say.

I have been waiting with anticipation and dread winning this contest for a long, long time. Dread because of the awesome responsibility of coming up with next month's theme. Thank you I think.

Lumatic, congrats on a great picture. It does look like you have great cell/satellite service. This month you won't need any help finding the new contest thread.

I had not appreciated how long the monthly contest has been going on. FYI the following 2006 post is the oldest one found on the Photography sub-forum, although older ones may have been on another sub-forum?

I will be the judge. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.
Grand prize winner will be announced in first week of March, after I've had a chance to receive all bribes.
It's for real, go for it!
Winner gets all bragging rights.
Why should Airstream Central have all the fun and drooly photos when we can do it here?
Someone else can do it next month. Maybe Andy will like the idea and offer a few pesos.

The October contest is alive and well. "Are we having fun yet?"

Lumatic that is a very cool shot! Don't you just love the VLA? Not sure how close your airstream is but this angle is really fun!

Some of my favorite shots to take involve juxtaposing my airstream with something larger than it should be: a dinosaur, Babe the Ox, a pistachio, "Pedro", a giant rocking chair... I've put some examples from my collection below.
For September, please show me shots where your airstream looks unusually small next to something bigger than it should be. The more whimsical, the better. Show me a roadside attraction so large (and maybe even gaudy) that you couldn't resist parking your Airstream next to it and taking a photo.

Hello! Love the pics. I am still in the purchasing phase. What vehicle are you using to pull your Bambi? I would like an SUV versus a truck. Thabks
