Thank you. I recalled that the opportunity to 'make' these pictures was after our rally had finished and my Airstream neighbors had left.....and it gave me room to place my tripod where I needed. Guess what.....in a few days we are attending this years Jackson (Ca.) Rally......and there will be a FULL MOON!

Well if you capture more excellent pics with the expected full moon & your Airstream....you might need to start a special photo thread...."full moon....or maybe subject heading....was it John Lennon who wrote..."we all shine on like the moon, the stars and the sun" ...all of us Airstreamers-that is!

Not trying to be pushy here, but isn't it FreshAir's turn to name the October 2014 photo contest? No hurry, just interested to see where it goes this month... Or have I missed it?

Well, not really knowing the rules, last month I was told the winner of a month hosts next month's contest.
However, if someone knows how to do this, like FreshAir, I think they should put up the thread for October as the winner has not done this.
I am kinda the new girl on the photo contest thread.

Oooohhh , my bad. I caught the last two conversations, and thought FreshAir was the winner, discussing their photo...
Winner was BambiTex. Sorry for the mistake... I was in a reading frenzy. I'll shut up now.
-Red, rather confused most of the time...

So, just replace "FreshAir" with "BambiTex" in my earlier post...

Thanks for the Honorable Mention Msmoto - there were lots of terrific entries this month! I have been in the midst of a very hectic time and forgot to even check back in until now...what a nice surprise!

Generally, "the rules" are pretty loose - the "judge" selects a "winner", lets them know via PM or email (just in case they forget to check in at the thread - like I did this mionth) and then the winner hosts the next month's contest. If for some reason the winner can't perform their duties for the next month, then one of the runner's up will to keep the contest going.
If BambiTex isn't able to start a new thread in the next day or two, then I'd say hand it off to FreshAir since he has an idea thrown out.
