How 'bout some more pictures? Anyone else want to show and tell?
Hi, although I posted several pictures of our trailer's interior for all to see, [page #2 - post #17] I have been given a request from my wife to do a living room remodel. [wife's idea and Bob the Builder gets to make it happen] I am posting progress pictures and explanations on the AIR-forums Blog. "2005 Safari remodel." The idea was to make our living room more comfortable, with seating room for two more people, make it unique, and try to make it look like it was made this way from Airstream.
Welcome to our 1963 Bambi ~ our silver "Tardis" (For those in the know... Tardis is the name of the space transporter from Dr. Who ~ the longest running BBC sci-fi program. Tardis stands for: Time and Relative Distance in Space.)
Our sweet little Bambi has had a frame off restoration, but we returned her to near original. We did change the upholstery and decorative items, but all the appliances, etc. are still original to her! One can take the 25 cent tour by simply standing in the doorway!

Oh thank you wippi, don't mind if I do! Just a little Yes the view is lovely. Where are you camped? The CCD really brings the outside in without distracting from the scenery. I do like the electric blue too.

Oh No Michelle, you must have been really shaken up to see yourAirstream all shook up like that. I hope they get you a nice settlement from that patrolman who took no notice of what...an entire 50?? foot rig... before he slammed into it! Is that you that lump in bed trying to keep the light of day out?? Ahhh, poor Michelle. You're the super trooper.

Yes the view is lovely. Where are you camped? The CCD really brings the outside in without distracting from the scenery. I do like the electric blue too.
