Made me absolutely ill! And their BS excuse "it's all about saving lives". Ugh!!!! Boy Scout leaders no less! What an absolute shame. I hope there's some serious punishment for that.
Now back to the pics :-)

Northern Look
From Midway Beach between Tokeland and Grayland on the Washington State coast earlier this month during my annual fall visit to the ocean beaches (dodging the clam diggers). This male Northern Harrier was hunting low and slow over the sand dunes one evening when (as you can tell by the eyes) spotted me and my camera on the ground. Always curious, the harrier flew directly over me to see what my camera and I were all about. Jeff

That amazing pooch was our fur kid Hagar. Sad to say we lost him last July but you can read about some of his adventures herehttp://www.airforums.com/forums/f42/the-hagarstream-is-on-the-road-79445.html He was a loyal Airstreamer.

So sorry for your loss. What a beautiful fur kid! Do I get this right - you named your Airstream after Hagar - of vice versa?
I have much more to follow up on your travels (only got to the 4th page) but LOVED the shot of Hagar either kissing you or inquiring about trip details while you were driving :-)
Just a wonderful pooch. Must be hard to travel without him. Wishing you all the best.

Not to be too far off topic here is Hagar and his mom checking out dinner on the Acadian coast in New Brunswick, Ca.
Now to answer your question we rescued Hagar when he was about 1 year old. A few years later we got the Airstream and Hagar loved it so much that friends of ours decided that should be known as the Hagarstream. There was never any question that Hagar did indeed rule the Hagarstream.
This is the first trip out without him and it is very difficult.
Thanks for asking.

Some unbelievable entries so far! We are now 67.741935% through the month, so now is the time to get your entries in! But we have lots of unrepresented states, provinces and countries. Where has your Airstream taken you??

I'm sorry I didn't mean the picture was off topic, I didn't want to get into a discussion about Hagar on the photo contest thread so I posted it to keep at least part of my post on topic. Just trying to be a good forum member.
Also I really loved all the lobster we ate on the trip.

Here is one more Province.
This is a frosty Manitoba morning - the geese greeted us as we were leaving the campground - staged for the journey to their own winter home.
I should add - if you are ever camping on the open Prairie do not pass up an opportunity to get up a little early and catch the sunrise ..... you will never regret it.
Great contest Brad - but I wouldn't want your job the morning of November 1st.
Thanks,
Jay

Yes, I was just scanning through the various pages and pictures from this contest and thinking, wow, there are some INCREDIBLE pictures this month - sure wouldn't want to be the judge! Oh, crap, that's me.
We have entries from England, most of the Canadian provinces, somewhere around 35,000 feet, half the states in the US, and the poorhouse, and there are a lot of spectacular pictures, great stories and favorite places.
Here again from my first post: "The idea is to show some of the best, most beautiful, interesting, unique places you have gone with your Airstream, places you have been and can’t wait to share with others; perhaps places that others might like to add to their own bucket list."
We've got a little over a week to go and half the US still to represent. Keep those pics coming!!
