Caution: Potential Digital Image Overload !

Our Airstream has taken us to many places in 2013. We have overnighted in numerous spots:

8 Ontario Provincial Parks,
3 National Forests (US)
3 National Parks (US)
4 State Parks
5 Walmarts

This represents 52 nights, 16k kilometers towed and coincidentally 16k digital images captured.

Many more parks visited included a total of 12 US National Parks.

From the depths of Death Valley...

To mountain passes including Powder Ridge, Tioga and Sylvan.

From Spring of the year in Bon Echo Provincial Park:

To the fall at Bonnechere and Presqu'ile Provincial Parks:

And high above my driveway...

Wide Open Roads:

...and not so wide open:

Expansive Vistas:

And not so:

Mountainous:

Flat:

Very difficult to pare down the number of amazing places.

Summer in Ontario (Bonnechere PP)

Pog Lake in Algonquin Park

And then the amazing 4 week road trip

Golden Gate Canyon State Park (CO)

Dead Horse Point State Park (UT)

Arches National Park

Canyonlands National Park

Mesa Verde National Park

Grand Canyon (South and North)

And Points in between...

Zion:

Bryce:

Yellowstone:

and Rushmore on the sprint home.

Thanks for viewing...

An amazing series of photos

Stitched those panoramics or was that a wide angle lens?

Lovely compositions!

Thanks...

Panoramas are a combination of:

stitching images from a Nikon DSLR using Autopano Pro software,
images directly from the panorama feature of a Sony NEX-3N
and wide angle shots (18mm lens)

MaxTow, what a great photographic eye you have! And all my favorite places, too! Thanks.

LUMATIC, did you get an audio recording of its call?

This is the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary near Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada. This is an incredibly beautiful area even if you don't see any bears. A boat tour takes you there on an all-day trip where we saw Harbor Seals, eagles, Coastal Bears, salmon jumping, sea gulls, and ducks. We bought a 30' 2005 Airstream Classic for a 4-month fishing trip across Canada from Ontario to British Columbia and kept a blog at fishacrosscanada. We sadly sold the trailer on AirForum Classifieds, but I want to buy another one some day. I love traveling in an Airstream!

Goblin Valley SP, Utah

Anybody see the news clip about 3 boy scout leaders who knocked over one of the formations? Here's a link: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...,d.aWc&cad=rja

The formations are roundy boulders sitting on pedestals of soft sediments.

They later did a news conference saying they didn't want the formation to fall on top of some kid.
