Sorry for the bad news of your furry camping partner.
Each dog over the years from the Sheppard who took me by the hand as a four year old to the neighbors house to our Sheltie that loved to chase sea gulls had a unique personality and haved remained in my heart. I am happy to have had each one in my life.
I am sure you will reflect on this friend in the future with a smile on your face.

Chief, this was totally TIC.....for a laugh. After all, the subject is emotion.
I would never be so rude or demeaning.....and yes, I am Canadian.

streamin thanks for the pet wishes.
Again, I just made these signs up. I was only yokin'!
Mods, perhaps you could remove #2. My taste was all in my mouth, obviously.

switz, thank-you for sharing your pet stories. The vision of the Sheppard who took you by the hand as a little guy - I like that a lot.
It's just really difficult right now. I can't think, much less write about my dog without being overcome by sadness and grief.

Camping at Convict Lake, CA. It always makes me "Happy" to see a rainbow. Especially with our Airstream in it!

No Emotion
Such imagery can promote a state of non-being, releasing one from the tyranny of emotion.
What follows is clarity.

Thanks for the entries. I hope fun was had.
Several images were stunning and I could have selected any of them. I'm going to select "Bliss" by Hittenstiehl as the winner.
I like the framing of the trees and the feeling of discovery looking at the image. I could picture myself hiking thru the woods and coming upon this campsite.
At first I'd like to see who is home, and then of course if it's for sale!
Congrats!

DanB,
Thank you so much for choosing our Photo out of all the good entries. I will start a new thread by this evening.
That photo was taken in Feb of 2014 at LoLoMai Campground in Cornville AZ on an Android phone.
It's an organized Campground set on tiered rows that lead down to Oak Creek. It's one of the few times that 4CU uses a organized Campground versus dry camping.
As I wandered around the campsites I saw this beauty sitting on one of the upper rows peeking thru the trees and it looked blissful.
Thanks again.
