Thank you all for your thoughtful, thankful submissions. I was hoping for some good stories, along with the photos, and you did not disappoint.

And thank you, Articfox, for the 23D Rockwell Photoshop (altho not an official entry into the contest). That made my month.

My favorite ones seems to be those where you shared your love of your Airstream with friends and family. A few stood out for me:
Breezinalong's shot with his 97yo grandma
HiHoAgRV's artful barn shot from a family reunion
DanB's restoration partner - his wife
Mellinkat's two adorable twin grand-kids

And the winner is:

My thankful heartstrings were won over by Mellinkat's photo of their 2 grand-kids on the steps of their 25' SS who can't wait to camp with "Grammy and Papa". Surely those twin boys will get the camping bug, and we'll be seeing them on the road (and maybe even in this forum) in ~30 years. Probably in that same Airstream! My brother and I are 16 months apart, and we started camping with our parents at about that same age.

I'm sad to say my Grandma passed this morning. I guess 2016 wasn't done taking him the good ones.The last I saw her was the picture I submitted for the November contest. RIP.

In the last year, grandma has only gone outside into the garden terrace a couple of times and has not ever gone out the front door. Well, as soon as I told her our new Airstream was out front, she insisted on walking outside to see it.

You see, my grandpa, who passed away many years ago, LOVED Airstreams. I remember as a kid him pointing one out any time he saw one and talking about how good they were. But, there was no was they could ever afford one.

Fast forward all these years and I'm guessing Grandma didn't want to pass up an opportunity to see one and let my Grandpa know his grandson got around to having one. We're thankful Airstream got her motivated.

So sorry to hear of your loss, but glad she got to see you and the Airstream before she departed. I'm sure it brought her great joy to see you that day and to know you would get to enjoy that Airstream. My condolences.
