I cannot reveal my secrets. It is quite possible I jumped out the passenger door because I knew this was such a great photo op.

Thanks for a great contest Frank. I appreciate the honorable mention too.

There were so many excellent photos, some I did not mention. I had to pick one though.

That sir, is one of the serious down sides to winning the previous month.

Thanks.

The dog has been impossible to live with since I told her this morning .... she's been prancing around like a Lipizzan Stallion all day long ...

In truth - the idea was taken from Norman Rockwell (we have always loved his work - and often charactize many of lifes pleasurable events as "Norman Rockwell Moments") - you may recall his painting of a dog's head out the station wagon while going on family vacation - in any event - the notion of a "Attica" with her head out the window and the Airstream in the background seemed a natural.

You should know that this was a team effort - my wife was the one that took the picture - she seized the camera from me when she realized her life was in danger (what can I say - it is not easy to drive and take pictures through the mirror at the same time - it was a great workout for the Hensley) ... but we both know that the picture could have been a lot more effective if taken by folks who actually had some idea of what they were doing ...

By the way - Attica is our sons dog - we are the day-sitters - and love every moment she spends with us.

Attica is a beautiful dog and I laughed out loud when I read your comment about her newly adopted vanity.

I have a fondness for Norman Rockwell so I will be looking up that picture. Wonderful idea and perfectly executed. Thanks for the story behind the scenes, it is as humourous as it is interesting.

I wonder if Attica will be in the Airstream calendar, maybe I could get a personally paw printed edition if she is up to giving autographs to her public.

Congratulations on a super picture. The group effort really paid off.

Folks, I'm in deep doo-doo. Yesterday I had to ask Maria what day it was and was informed that it was Saturday. Now I see this thread about November photos. Am I just totally screwed up, or what?

No Lynn it's not you, this time... but Rangerjay's entry for Novemeber on Airforums has been chosen for the december Airstream newsletter photo of the month. Maybe I should just start a thread of Airstreamers newsletter photos of the month. Airstream and Airstream Life have used several of the members' photographs from the contests.
