November 2006 Photo Contest
November Photo Contest!
Don't post yet, they won't count until November 1st.
I have not decided on the topic yet. But there are a ton of good suggestions so far!
However, keeping with tradition it SHALL have an Airstream in the photo as the main subject - One like from the movie RV, at the dump station!
- Picture of your Airstream from your tow vehicle.
- Unusual locations
- Unusual weather phenomena
- Unusual camping conditions
- How about the best night time photo?
- Free reign and see what develops
- Worst campsite.
- Worst/best pic of A/s
- best/most useless A/S gizmo you've bought.
This is like a sub contest...

So, is that the contest -- choose one of the sub topics? That might be a tough one to judge!

Balrgn,
I vote for night time shot.
The dump station one would get my vote, but only when it is "camping" season all the way up to Canada. (That way I would have a chance at an entry,)

Worst dump station would NOT get my vote. I had a bad experience at a dump station that I did not photograph because who wants to see that #@*&!?

Turkey Month
How about the greatest "Turkey" photo of the month. Something like what you discovered when restoring, renovating, or just repairing you new or used Airstream? We all have them. Just an idea - go ahead -flame away..... It's late.

Theme?
We don't need no steenkin theme! All Airstream photos are good, some are just better than others. My vote comes down to a free-for-all.
If you own an Airstream, shoot it!

As I'm self propelled I would not want to see a "best view from a tow vehicle." I'm sure you'll come up with a theme ....or none.
This thread...each month is getting better and better.
Thanks to all who contribute prizes in addition to the famed and fabled $5 bill.

A free for all could easily be limited by including a timing item.
Like...
Must have your favorate drink in the doorway.
Or something that would require the photo to be recent.
And not likely that you would have taken a photo before with the item in place.

The only limit is your creativity and must have an Airstream (whole or partial) included in the shot. And I get to choose the winner
