No More Photos? Maxed Out?

I have tried to post appropriate photos with some Boondocking posts. You know how a picture is worth a hundred words and a good photo is worth a thousand...

Do I need to delete some previous photos that accompanied a Thread or Post?

I will try to post a photo on this post. Maybe there is something else going on when I try to add a photo, it is accepted, but after five minutes it is still... thinking about it.

I have 42.31mb of jpg photos. The prompt says "Uploading File(s)- Please Wait. Using the same camera... as always.

Thank you for any input.

There is a storage cap of 50 meg for attachment files and 100 meg for photo gallery images on free memberships. There are a couple of easy workarounds besides paying to get the Supporting Member perks.

You can share your photos from a site like photobucket or flickr or several others. Then instead of attaching the photo itself to your post, you click the square button that looks like a yellow sky with triangular mountains at the bottom and paste in the "sharing" URL for your photo (getting that share URL is pretty easy on the usual photo-sharing sites. On Photobucket the one that works best for AIRForums is the one that says "Direct".

I'm told you can also upload photos to the Gallery and link them to your post from there. I personally use the share-from-photobucket method.

Becoming a Supporting Member for only $20/year is a great way to ensure that you will always be able to upload your photos for threads and posts while supporting AirForums that is so supportive of us in so many ways!

Yep! And with the $20, you get a couple of cool stickers! Show your support!

resizing and saving out your photos for smaller compression is a good idea as well. This way you'll use up less space.

If you do a link to another site like Flikr or the like if you ever get rid of the site your photo links also are broken. I see that every couple of days or so especially if doing a search for an issue or subject I am try to learn about here on the forums. Buy the membership and leave then here on the site.

Reducing image size allows them to display in the orientation you wanted. If the image is too big, when you look at preview, then you could see it sideways or upside down. Images in the photo gallery can be larger then the ones posted in the forum due to screen size limitations of the forum software.
