His name is Reuben, loves to wear his Airstream hat and go 'streamin'. And for the holidays, he dresses for the occasion .....

But here is a snapshot of some of the necessary colors

In keeping with the theme as well as reading in between the lines (Jezibels first post quoting "Photography and Airstreams seem to go hand in hand"). How about a photographer in the photo?

Today is a good day to REFLECT on the flag and those who came home shrouded in one of them, as well as those who remain POWs or MIAs.

"Today is a good day to REFLECT on the flag and those who came home shrouded in one of them, as well as those who remain POWs or MIAs."
Absolutely correct- Memorial Day ( or Decoration Day, as my Dad always called it) means much, much more than a bar-b-que and a three day camping trip. We spent this Memorial Day at Veteran's Park in Georgia and went to the Andersonville National Historic Site. In addition to walking the grounds of the old Prison Site, we toured the POW Museum, and had the privilege of seeing the National Cemetery adorned with flags on every tombstone. It was a weekend to remember- If you are in Georgia for Memorial Day, I highly recommend it- all gave some, some gave all.....god bless our soldiers who stand up for our great country.

Winning Shot!
And the Winner of the May 2014 Airforums photo contest goes to Flying Gypsies, this shot is spectacular!
Being an amateur photographer myself it is my goal to try to capture not just a beautiful overall picture with balance, color etc., but to evoke a feeling, this definately does that. I can picture myself at that campsite, sitting at our picnic table under the awning at late afternoon, thinking about what I'll be praparing for dinner on the fire and just relaxing. Great job Flying Gypsies! Now you start a new thread for June and you get to pick the theme and the winners!
PS PM me your mailing address and Ill mail you your prize!
Thank you all for entering!
