I'm not sure, I've been trying to get hold of Roy.
Maybe my PM's shouldn't have been titled "congratulations, I'm sorry"

All right. Sorry for the delay; I was on the phone with the President. He wants me to visit the White House...AGAIN! This month's theme will be . . . PHOTOS IN BLACK & WHITE / MONOCHROME. I've seen some really great ones in past contests, but none have won. ALL PAST B&W ENTRIES ARE WELCOME! Sepia tones are also welcome. For those of you with Photoshop or any similar computer program, converting color photos to B&W is fun and easy. And as in last month's contest, other creative Photoshop alterations are welcome. The silver nature of our Airstreams is a natural for the black and white medium. Think Bogey in "Key Largo", or Ansel Adams, or "The Last Picture Show". Good luck and stayed tuned for info on this month's prizes.

Nice shot, Shari. Is that near La Vita? The Spanish Peaks?

Now that got the old feet tapping. I needed that this sunny Thursday morning. Thank you. And great picture - reminds me of many Airstreams we found while travelling the country looking for just the right one parked beside a barn (or in one with the barn doors open) or beside a shop so we could pound on the door and ask if it was for sale. 20+ years of that before we got just the right one.

Well finally... we almost have our Bambi out camping.. next week actually.. so maybe I'll have some shots to enter these contests!
Here's one from today after 6+ hours of washing/waxing... and featuring my newly placed 'Air' sticker hiding in the background

Wow, great pics so far! This one has an audio, "OK, turn around, this way, ok, say cheese..." And with his string-cheese he did!

Black and White? Oh my, back to the instruction book. I think these instructions are written for folks who already know how to use a camera.

Well, it is a photo contest, and some basic knowledge of cameras by the entrants is assumed...

Black and white? OH NO! Don't throw me in the briar patch. Here is one from Bents Fort. For what its worth, it is true black and white (large format film) not a desaturated file. A full size version can be seen on my website (link below)

It should be noted that I worked my way through school as a photographer for a newspaper, so black and white photos are not something I am unfamiliar with, but I have lost the desire to pursue that art form since the age of the digital color camera. (color is for fun, but B&W is business)
I like how the vertical supports contrast with the rounded barrel sides.
