March 2017 Photography contest!
I am honored to have been declared the winner of the February 2017 contest, looking for pictures that captured Airstreams and Love, in honor, I assume, of Valentine's day.
So in keeping with the holiday theme in March, let's give a nod to good ol' St. Patty and the Emerald Isles (think the color green)! Extra points to be awarded for creativity on the theme. Some examples might include:
-Your Airsteam surrounded by the lush greenery of spring
-A drunken leprechaun looking for his pot-o-gold (under the rear of your trailer)
-A druid driving the snakes out of your trailer (historical reference)
-Dew glistening on your solar panel array (green energy)
-Dew glistening on the seat of your composting toilet (green recycling?)
Happy photographing--let the fun begin!

Leprechauns can not be seen when sleeping. They get quite small. But you can see there is one under Glimmer, because of the rainbow leading to the pot of gold he is protecting.
Oh! He figured out that I was trying to post and deleted the picture. This is going to take some significant planning and heavy plotting to enter this one. Pat

Gnomes, gnomes on the range.
Gnomes are genetically related to Leprechauns and are a more practical folk excelling in gardening. They live in the bellypan and come in handy for managing the mouse population.

The road to the gold?
Wow, that took some patience. Had to wait for the little fellow to drift off. He was kind of tired after controlling all those pixel thingies, so that helped. Unfortunately, as with most of those little people, he was not quite down for the count. When I got close to the gold, he woke up and scampered. Last seen headed North on 101. Must have been that notorious Hank's wind that gave him a boost. But we do have the picture to post. Pat

Great shot Pat! Is that a WIFI or cell booster antenna sticking up near your front vent cover? Have you posted the details on another thread maybe?
Thanks,
Peter

That is an early warning Leprechaun detector. Leprechauns are so small when sleeping that you can't see them, but one of those proprietary detectors does a good job of letting you know they are around. They are really gold metal detectors, but same deal, since Leprechauns always have a pot of gold near by. They are also stealth in they look like site lighting and the good ones even have LED lights as a cover story. Leprechauns generally are not tech informed yet, so the detector is a good way to find them. But the technology my not work much longer. The one we were tracking was at least internet trained or he would not have known we were out for him. So, no .... not a WiFi amplifier. Pat

Well the month is half over, today is St. Patty's day, and I figured I would bump the thread and theme a bit. So, I thought I would post a recent picture I captured of a group of faeries/sprites/hippy leprechauns camping among some rocks with their trailer. Not competing in my own contest--just for fun! Keep the entries coming!

I thought that gremlins lived in the belly pan, that's where ours live. Are gremlins related to gnomes and leprechauns? Maybe first cousins, perhaps?

Silly Rich, everyone knows a Gremlin won't fit in a bellypan.

No, no, no ....... Gremlins cost money! The little people grant wishes and carry their own coin. They are just a bit reluctant to hand it over. Green beer helps some. Pat
