Hanging with a snow bird down in Florida

Had a great time visiting with our new Airstream buddy last week. Said he'd be hitting the road soon, heading out west spending some time out in California for the summer.

Cash and stickers?

How much better can it get? I am going to PM grouchy Inland Andy to see if he will sweeten the pot with a trinket. I might also ask Steve of vintagetrailersupply.com to toss in a charm.
Commercial vendors, here is an opportunity to advertise your merchandise by adding to the ante.
This is much better than the Airstream central contest where we only get to see the winning photo.
It's all good! Submit your photo or get free advertising by tossing something in the pot.
Ante up!
Thanks to Andy for volunteering the stickers. Which of our commercial vendors will step up to the plate?

Public apology to Inland Andy

The word "grouchy" was ill chosen. Andy, with his vast experience in the Airstream industry is a tremendous asset to these forums, He does tend to get defensive when his reputation is impugned but that's understandable. He has advised me that he will sweeten the kitty for this contest and my hat is off to him. Where would we be without experts like him contributing their knowledge here?
I chose that word in a lighthearted sense based on some previous exchange with unhappy customers for whatever reason. We are very fortunate to have contributing experts like Inland Andy and I have personally been quite satisfied with my purchases from inlandrv.com

This was the look out of our bedroom at the Airfield of Stendal, the morning after Dave had arrived during the night...

and this was a shot minutes before it was unloaded from the flatbed Truck (this is our Contest Entry!) and the TV that was used can be seen in our Avatar...

BTW: The Hangar is from WWII and was used to store and dry the Parachutes and after WWII it was used by the Russian Airforce, before the Wall came down (Berlin Wall not the Hangar Wall)

What I would give for a garage/shop of that size. Think the entry door is tall enough to clear an air conditioner?

No, unfortunatly it is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany (short - Government), and rented by the Airport of Stendal. There is another Hangar 300 yards away which I would love to own, but we only have money to spend for the Airstream or a hangar - well, we´ll keep the Airstream!!
I´ll take some pics this weekend and post them in the members section...
