Kirk Creek Campground, CA
On Highway 1 just south of Big Sur is a campground that is the best but the most difficult to get into during the summer months.
Here we see our friends' AS parked to the right and our AS parked to the left under the big tree at Kirk Creek Campground. The big old Pacific Ocean is in the background.

On the way home from Cottonwood, AZ, we got off the freeway and since no traffic was crossing the overpass, we parked the our AS and posed the Peeps prominently in the rear window. We were parked on the overpass just below Ciriaco Summit.

June, 2006, at the summit of Manning Park east of Vancouver, BC, while on our way to Osoyoos for a week on the lake. It was later afternoon and we stopped to feed the woodchucks and stretch our legs. Then one of our spot on the lake. It's a great place to go, you can get sites right on the water if you wish, and it gets HOT so soaking in the lake is a great way to pass an afternoon relaxing. I thought I'd try one of the pictures in black and white just to set the tone for the age of the vehicles.

Thanks Fryzowt, I keep trying. It's kind of cool to be able to post whatever pictures you want for a change. Really helps participation, lots and lots of great shots and interesting pictures to see this month.
Terry, sorry about all the turbulence and threatening weather but more often than not after the storm blows through, the sun peeks out for a glorious rainbow and the past gets quickly forgotten with the promise of a grand new day. Here's wishing you all rainbows and sunshine very soon. It's coming.

Hosts here have been terrific! (I'm not bucking for a job.) I just found myself personally challenged for valentines or love month and the before and after pictures month (though I might have shown an empty pocket book. ) so I am having a free for all ball this month while the getting is good and enjoying seeing lots of pictures from lots of people.

Remember, if we don't have a volunteer, this month's winner will be the judge for next month's contest.
