Javier,

that is a great combo. I'll bet you get thumbs up everywhere you go. I'll bet there are a lot of people who think the trailer is not much newer than the car given the number of folks who don't realize Airstreams are still manufactured.

Mistral Blue,

How neat is that to have your son so enthused about the Airstream that he makes and displays a model of it! We need a lot more of the younger crowd coming on board to keep things going. It is very neat that he won an award and from the pictures it looks like he did one heck of a job.

Airstreaming Mojave

Here a few of last weekends boondock outing to Mojave desert. Close to 100F during the day, but clear sky at night for stargazing.

There were martinis the night before ( many of them) with the associated results of slight disorientation and blurry vision the next morning. Thank God all body functions returned to normal for star gazing, and camp fire gazing.
No Margaritas on this outing...next time for sure.

First Time Out..

The first picture is evening at the Barstow KOA on our way home from Arkansas with our new 2007 Airstream.

The second picture is night with a storm approaching Gallup New Mexico.

The last picture is me with a glass of wine enjoying camping along the Little Red River in Arkansas.

Sorry about the tanks guys. At the time these were taken my beloved wife and I were seperated and I was living in this baby (for about a year). When she found out I had an Airstream she wanted me to come back! But now I wonder, maybe she just liked the propane tanks!

Crowley Lake, California.

Sure wish we were here again. One of my favorite stops along Highway 395 heading north for June Lake or Oregon or anywhere.
Behind us are the Sierra Mountains and below is Crowley Lake.......
We usually stop at Taboose Creek for the night, get up early and drive through Bishop, then stop for a late breakfast or early lunch here.

Peeps in a window

Kevbo will understand....
Peeps are for people!!!

On the way home from Cottonwood, AZ, we got off the freeway and since no traffic was crossing the overpass, we parked the our AS and posed the Peeps prominently in the rear window. We were parked on the overpass just below Ciriaco Summit.
