Somewhere to go - pics of nine UK Airstreamers before we set off tomorrow on a journey across the English Channel to meet up with other EU Airstreamers for a gathering to be held at Venlo in the Netherlands over the weekend of 17-19 June, where 47 will be attending from all over Europe. Many a Picture has been taken there. I have yet to stop with my motorcycle. We go over the pass about once a week in the summer to Powell, ID for Breakfast or Dinner depending on the day of the week.

This week on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Blowing Rock, NC.
above: We saw this little deer follow his mother across the road. She disappeared in the trees but this little one was afraid of the slope, so he laid in the grass just off the pavement. He could barely walk, he must have been born only a few hours before. I had to stop and chase him out of the road so he would not get run over. His mother stood just in the trees only a few feet away encouraging him to come to her.
below: 24 June on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Blowing Rock, NC. Low temps in the mid 60's early morning and high 70's in the afternoon. I'm ready to go back!

I am sorry this is taking so long,but with no kids around when I have computer problems,I really fight it and finally have to admit defeat.I wanted to copy all of the pictures I wanted for the winners,but I can't get it done. Hi, Thank You Spencer. Right now we are on another one of "Bob & Lee's randon trip"s. Today we are in Centrailia, Washington and heading North on the 5 FWY. I will try to start the July photo contest. I'm traveling so WIFI might be spotty.
