This was in incredible late summer fun trip to Branson in 2013 - stopped in at the Minneapolis Airstream Park for a couple nights on the way down - got to meet Elvis personally (among a number of other supposedly "retired" entertainers) while in Branson, stopped in at the Field of Dreams site on the way back (even met a couple of mean looking ghosts in the cornfield ....), then took backroads the rest of the way home.
A great little road trip.

Since summer is about travel adventures, I'd like to share an image
from my current trip in California. A predawn start saw me thru S F while the city was sleeping, and allowed this up front pause for a picture of three icons.
Cruising in the airstream motorhome often gathers attention. The combination with the Porsche in tow really is a great Ice breaker.

So we did not get any impressive shots that included the AS - but I will share for context only this snapshot my sister took of my fam on trip to Tybee island last week - great time!!

WOW, the NorCal coast is so beautiful.
Many points of interest, coves with little beaches, rivers with water in them (I've been in AZ too long ) beautiful rocky points, penicles and rocks offshore, whisper of fog playing with the terrain giving it more drama, gorgeous.

The Winner Is.........
jayseejay! The picture posted in reply # 59 was numero uno in my mind. I liked the reflection and it captured the beach and the Airstream.
So jayseejay, now it's time for you to come up with a photo contest for July.
I apologize to everyone for the delay in announcing a winner for the June 2015 Photo Contest. I looked at the entries periodically though the month and took a look early on June 30 but I didn't want to announce a winner prematurely. I'm glad I waited as there were several more entries on June 30. Unfortunately, I completely forgot to come back to the forum on July 1st and make a final decision.
