A couple of shots from our home town - Marietta, GA. We love the area, the people, the weather (most of the time), the school system, and the fact that we have been Pope High School "band geeks" - or I guess technically that would be "band parent geeks".
At home, in preparation for a huge band recycling fundraiser, and at the band bake sale. Technically, the tailgating photos are not IN our home town, but not more than a few miles away. No high school band tailgated like we did. Could you pass me the grey poupon?

Hometown is Athol, New York nestled in the Adirondack Mountains. The picture is our front yard the week we left for Myrtle Beach, March, 2012. We love life in the mountains.

Hi Bill,
The Adirondacks were my old stomping grounds. I remember the parties at the Stony Creek Inn well.

The Stoney Creek Inn is about 6 miles from my house, been there a few times too. Mexican night on Sundays was especially good. Good food, good music with the Stoney Creek Band and the beer was cold. Were you from the area? We've lived here 22 years or so. Safe travels.

We love it here in Marietta (GA) because holidays are a great reason to get dressed up.

Towed Haul and the Toadmobile on the driveway, all set for for our final run of 2011.
Hometown is Chatham, Ontario.
A nice thing about Chatham is that it's a friendly little place, mostly. Oh, and the mayor rides a motorcycle!
PS, I must remember to unbolt that basketball board from the top of the airstream....

Nice write ups so far! It's a good time learning a little more about all of these unique and off-the-beaten- track places we all live. Keep them coming hometown streamers. Something tells me we have a lot of unique people out here too. Ted

The FaN and the Horse Barn
Home is the Fraser Valley, a verdant boulevard of pasture and fertile farmland bordered by the Cascade Mountains. The valley is also peppered with many dairy, poultry, mushroom, and horse barns.
Oops! It would appear my green Eden has turned white, but each season exhibits its own splendour. (Contrary to popular belief, the westcoast of Canada receives little snow, hence my flurry of picture taking).

1. Submit a picture of your airstream in your hometown.
Ok, so it's not the most artistic picture ever, but it's the first of
our Shiney Hiney parked at her home.
We bought her in November but had to make some changes to park
her legally in the yard.
We've been having so much fun running around with her the changes
took a back seat to camping but we finally got it done and brought
her home today!
2. Name your town and state.
Plano, TX
3. Say one thing that you love about your hometown.
It's in Texas. What else do I have to say.

June 2012 photo contest
The photo below is of my Suburban hitched to the 1978 Minuet 6.0 waiting for departure in the driveway located at my home in Anna, IL
The photo below is of my 1975 Caillac Eldorado hitched to the 1978 Minuet 6.0 ready for departure to a Rally. The rig is parked in the driveway located at my home in Anna, IL.
The photo below is of the 1975 Cadillac Eldorado with my '64 Overlander parked across the street from my home, at the time, in Aledo, IL. (This was the Cadillac's first trip as tow vehicle.)
It seems like I rarely take a photo just before departure. As a Free Wheeler, I guess that I have been too worn out to take such photos following loading, safety check, hitching up, and checking lighting . . . as well as getting my dog(s) ready for their adventure.

Airsteaming in the little town of Atikokan in Northwestern Ontario might best be represented by a picture of our driveway during each of the four seasons (we are the only Airstream in town ...... ).
This little community represents the best of small town living - some would consider it remote - no question it is in the middle of God's country - 100's of lakes within an hours drive - the best of fishing and hunting - the Canoeing Capital of Canada and gateway to Quetico - as much nature as anyone could want - heck - what is there not to love?
I've added one last picture - the view from our favourite campsite anywhere - in Quetico park and just a 30 minute drive away.
Thanks,
Jay

Off to purchase some Champane and grey poupon with Airstream in tow. This photo was taken by Greves, our head houseman at our summer cottage, located in Weneverhaveenough Isle, Maine.
Although not our primary home town, when we are here for our one week of the year that has good weather, the locals (and staff) make us feel like it is.

Ranger, I love your home with the coachouse/garage. Looks like something right out of a Norman Rockwell painting.

Overlander64, you made me smile seeing the picture of the Eldorado towing the Airstream. Back in the early 70's my parents bought their first new Airstream & an Eldorado to tow it with. My Dad's favorite line was, "a Cadillac for a Cadillac."

It was close! We had to move the fence line out 4 feet to even fit her in the back yard.
