June 2008 Photo Contest
June 2008 Photo Contest
"Airstreams and Sunsets"
Nothing beats hanging by the campfire with friends and sharing a great sunset. This months contest is pretty cut and dry - must have the two to qualify!
Here is one of my favorites from our 08' NEU Salisbury Beach Rally to get the ball rolling.
...Let the games begin!

A Test
http://www.airforums.com/photos/show...php?i=15871&c=
Trying a technique Terry used. He copied and pasted the image in Windows XP, what I use at work. I am at home using Apple OSX 10.5 Leopard. Not really the smooth road that the commercials would lead you to believe.

Figures, doesn’t work. Much as I like Macs, (have been using both for many years) there a lot of bumps in the road.
Guess I’ll have to wait till they get the upload quota problem fixed.

It works with XP and Vista...Here's the photo you linked to, hopefully we can get that quota thing fixed soon.

Thanks Terry,
I didn’t get your PM till I got home. We use XP (great OS) at work for most things. One of our web servers is OSX, so I took the opportunity to buy a G4 with OSX from a coworker mainly to learn the differences between older Mac OSs (6.5 to 9.x) and the new BSD UNIX based version. Overall, I have been impressed, but these niggling little things still come up.
Back to the overall topic, I realize that this is an oldie, but still a goodie. Throwdown to everyone who has already declared victory!

Closest I will get to a sunset in the forest - Sorry to bring a bit of chill into June - but on a day like today our first taste of summer just like the old days (40c and Humid as all get go) and par for the course after the winter we had
It would be nice for a little cool breeze....

Hmm... seems I have a lot of great Airstream photos, and a lot of great sunset photos, but precious few Airstream sunset photos. This will have to do... evening reflection:
