I'm so jealous

I'm still working on mine and I can't wait until I can post pictures of my trips.

In the mean time I am clearly watching too much TV - my first though on seeing Wheel Interested post was "The Hills Have Eyes"!

This is the Rainbow Campgrounds at Big Lake in the White Mountains of Arizona, just a few miles from the New mexico border. The campground is paved, but no hookups. My Airstream turned a little green from the pollen from the pine trees. It's a great place to camp at around 9000 feet.

Same location. I rolled in the awning at night because it was very close to the campfire. The next morning I noticed that a spider had a very busy night.....

I'm baaaaaacck.....

First day was a simple boondock along I-80 near Green River, Wyoming. It was an unusual exit in that although there was no road north, the north side had at least 1/4 mile of right of way to the fence and had been plowed. You can see the nice plains sunset and the prarie grass the next morning.

The next few days were spent in the wonderful Logan, Utah, fairgrounds (500 South, 500 West). There is a public dump station along the west side of the fairgrounds. Then down to Salt Lake and my parent's driveway, then on to St George and a cousin's driveway, then to Vegas and the Oasis RV park. Then pack to boondockig in the next post!

Eastern Hiawatha National Forest Brevoort Lake

This campsite is at Brevoort Lake, reviewed here on the forum. No hookups but lakefront at many campsites, the shine behind the trees is the sun's reflection off the water. Its a great campground, just make sure you don't camp near the dumpster/fish cleaning station by the boat launch (its on the map)!

Next stop was the Head of Sinbad area at exit 126 on I-70 in Utah. This whole area is worth exploring--many petroglyphs and rock canyons. These three shots are from a spot directly north of the exit, about 1/4 mile.

See Jupiter in the background

See the Wickiup in the background. Some of you might think this is Molly's nipple, but no, it's neither of the two in Utah. Others may think it's Mary's nipple, but it's not any of the four of that are in Utah.
