A recent trip to one of our favorite camping places, the Carina Nebula in the Carina Constellation in the Southern Hemisphere. Kind of cold though. I had to put on my sweater.

A few weeks ago, we made a trip to SD to visit Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Also, we toured Wall Drug and the Badlands. Here's a pic from the Badlands. We stayed at the Fort We-like-it in Custer, SD. It's a very nice camp with lots of shade and it's just a mile or so from downtown Custer where they have many places to eat.

Ha Ha! Well, the mileage REALLY sucks until you leave the atmosphere, but once in space, one shot of the double helix thrusters in the wormhole and Voila! No fuel needed!

July Photo's
Lots of great photo's this month we've seen campsites that were out of this world and some that were a boondocker's dream. We've seen Airstreams, old and new, and some with a different hue, from pink to brown.
My favorite for July and our overall winner combined both themes with a very woodsy effect that made us yearn to hit the road.

Wow I'm surprised. Thanks for the honor. I really have enjoyed looking at all the pics in the past monthly contests. Many of you have really good eyes for composition something I only guess at. As for the month of August lets use something simple, general and open to a wide range of creativity -
