So here ya go: I was perusing Craigslist, (as one does) and saw that someone was selling a non-working vintage skil-saw of a very art-deco appearance. I thought: with a few modifications, that blade guard could look like a stylized single axle vintage Airstream trailer. A few hours of disassembly, modification, and general craftiness, and you get what you see in the attached pic...

Airstream painter

I'm a full time artist, and one of my favorite subjects is vintage Airstreams.
I prefer the polished ones, though have trouble finding them.

Painting the Basecamp

I love getting out into nature to paint. The Basecamp gives my photographer husband and I luxury accommodations in the wild. When I reached my sixties I decided it was time to end car and tent camping. I painted our Basecamp in the high sierra at Courtright Reservoir. Pen & gouache, 7x9 inches.

(Not an entry....but a different kind of craftiness as an invitation to see more of yours )

I found a lamp, rubbed it and to my surprise a genie came out to grant me one wish! So I said I wanted to live forever. And the genie said - that's the only wish I can not grant.

So I said, ok, I just want to live until the day Airstream delivers 100% of its products without a single defect.

"You crafty bastard," he said...

The more you post, the less of this humor you'll see. Save yourself! Post more crafts!

Also not an entry (no photo here either) but I crafted an alternative s'more recipe at a rally once.

The components were Trader Joe's triple ginger snaps (instead of Graham crackers), Ghiradelli white chocolate (instead of Hershey's) and a roasted "circus peanut" (instead of a marshmallow).

Trust me....
