Airstreams, Canoes & Yellow Labs
What's more American than camping in an Airstream, getting out on the water with a canoe and kayak and playing fetch with yellow labs?

Significant flags
My humble add to honor the many how have given so much.
The first is taken at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in N.M.
The second is the Oklahoma state flag that is hung at the Oklahoma City bombing Memorial.

July Photo contest.
Little Bride & I (along with four other couples) went to the International Rally in Madison, WI. We were all "International Rally Virgins"! What a memerorable time we had. I just thought "how appropriate" to see the USA flag flying proudly on one of our members airstreams, and snapped this shot. (ps: met "ArtStream" while there. Glad to meet him in person, and fantastic artwork!)

American Icons and Monuments
It's hard to get more American than caravanning in Washington DC. This year the WDCU did exactly that at the peak of cherry blossom season.
In our eight-trailer caravan I was behind Ruby4980 and her sweet '55 whale tail Bubble the entire way. So I got some great shots of her Airstream doing what Airstreams do best, right here in the USA.

Just back from a week of fun with my family in our new Airstream. Here are a couple of entries for this month - Put my camera on the electrical box. I just love the effect with the lights. About as artsy as I am capable of.
Showing off my 22nd Anniversary present. What girl doesn't dream of a flag holder with telescoping poles as a gift?? This has been our 'aluminum' year that's for sure!
Hope you enjoy!

June 24th Jackson Center, Ohio
This abstract was conjured up from a street photo I took. The Village of Jackson Center does deck out the light polls with the Stars and Stripes.

Cherry Blossom Rally 2009
The Washington D. C. Unit had a convoy/caravan through the D.C. mall. Our fist stop was the Marine Memorial at Arlington, VA.

We just returned from a week at Grayton Beach State Park. Below are a few photos from the trip. (I hope patriotic pooches count, too.)

Least We Not Forget
There is not better display of the American Flag and the representation of honor and rememberance, than its use at the Viet Nam Memorial Wall. God Bless the USA, and the American military.
