At dusk on July 4th, at Lake Neshonoc Campground, West Salem, Wisconsin. First stop over on our trip to the Black Hills.

For some reason, your pictures don't show. Any idea what format they are in?

not a format issue; its a bad link. should be in this format: http:// home.comcast.net/~username/file.jpg. (without the spaces between the "http://" and the domain name)....

Codybear: I'm truly sad to report I've never heard of your trailer's original dealer, but I love that old plate and weep for joy upon viewing it. It's a crying shame today's dealers don't have the marketing moxie of those guys from the '50 and '60's. Thanks for sharing!

I found (google) one reference to "walker the weeper" in an oregon appeals case that was settled in 2004.
http://www.publications.ojd.state.or...20991.htm#FNT3
In the document it mentions a piece of property on South Pacific Hwy that Walker (the weeper) purchased in 1964 to sell and service mobile homes. It's not much, but it is something.

Good detective work there AZ.

CodyBear - If your trailer is a '64 and Walker the Weeper bought the property in '64, I would imagine yours to be one of the first off the lot. At least it sounds reasonable to me. Do you have a date stamp on your ID tag?

Tnx to all for the comments..I have the original sales certificate /manual and registration for the first owner back in June 15, 1964 stored under our bed/sofa dinette drawer in our Safari..my in-laws were the 2nd owners and they passed it down to us in the 80's when they went to a bigger model..after my father-in-law passed on, my brother -in-law 'moved' into it..too bad he used it to store junk and trashed it. 10 years later and it's still there parked on my mother-in-law's property..weeds are growing up around there..oh well..

Time's running short...

It's 5p.m. on the Pacific coast and time's a wastin' .... better get that photo submission in for the July Photo Contest. Hope you're all enjoying the photos this month. I'm traveling south on Highway 1 and seeing lots of aluminum on my travels.
We actually have a 36' Moho... 90's vintage wide body... in the campground we're in tonight on the south end of Ft. Bragg, CA. I'm hoping to connect with the owner tonight.

Well the reason for the no-show on the photo in my prior post was that I was trying to change the size on the photo and my 30 minute window expired.

Here are my entries: Neshonoc Lake at Dusk, Devil's Tower & Old Glory, Mount Rushmore at dusk and Sunset over the Badlands.

Nice work on the Devils Tower image Red, I have always found it to be a bear to photograph well, which has always seemed odd to me....
