Custer State Park
These are from two fall visits - one in 2005 on the way home from Yellowstone - and the other in 2008 when we took in the Buffalo Round-up on the way to the Albuquerque Balloon Festival.
The turkeys (2005) had no idea the moral dilemma and emotional turmoil they caused - the Canadian Thanksgiving was - literally - only days away ..... they were all left intact (at least by me).
This grouping of bighorn sheep (2008) were a regular sight in Game Lodge Campground during the period of the Buffalo Round-up - this little guy decided to pay us a more extended and personal visit one afternoon - mom and her cronies didn't seem to mind - the attraction turned out to be fallen acorns that squirrels had cut from the oaks to be picked up later.

Yeah, his name is "Buddy" and he has free range of Terry Bison Ranch on the Colorado/Wyoming border. Cute huh?!
There's a funny story about Buddy...we were up there for a Unit rally. This picture was taken right outside the then President's trailer - right before all h&!! broke loose. The Prez felt so special all weekend that Buddy had chosen their trailer to lounge in front of. The only thing is, when Buddy decided it was time to "go" he did so right on the front step of their trailer - then he promptly decided to roll around in it!! So much for the then new rug! He didn't seem so little, or "cute" then! What a mess!!!! Funny, but not so funny...

I had some help with the interior demolition this evening.
This is Gracie, we call her Crazy, and she answers just the same...
When I went to get another shot of tequila, I mean "Vitamin T", I had another visitor today. I've got to remember to close the door when I go out.

Here's the old pack, Brad, Baron, Oreo, and Kee Kee and me. We lost our Baron this year to a sudden illness sorry to say. The last picture is our new Koa. He is grown since this picture and at 9 months he is 85 pounds and somewhat of a little moose, bless his heart.

Of course pets and airstreams is just an awesome topic..
And I would not be me if I did not show you the short list.....
A summer in the life of an Airstream from our Pets perspective....
Sometimes we get to help with laundry
Sometimes we get to run down a beach
Soometimes we get to meet other dogs
Sometimes we get to hang out in the Tow Vehicle
Sometimes we act like book ends
Sometimes we have to pose for the picture
Sometimes we are just dead tired
Sometimes we get to hang out on the bed
Sometimes we have to sleep on the floor
Sometimes we give them a scare

Sometimes we get to look out at the scenery
Sometimes we get to gab at rallies
Sometimes we gab a bit too long
Sometimes we think we might be served at the table
Sometimes we get to run in a field
Sometimes I get to rest my head on the table
Sometimes we get to mess around on the bed
Sometimes we get to sleep in with Dad
