I'd love to do Topsail Hill Preserve (Florida) again when it wasn't 30 degrees. Sitting outside and enjoying the view is so much better than peeking out the window.

Our post to this months contest is "our Aspirations" to keep working on the girls and these bits will help with the continued improvements.
Thanks to VTS, Military Surplus Store, CPT Tolley and a friend who found our Airstreams so delightful during a party she gifted us the tumblers.

Sawtooth mountain range. We are close to but never spend enough time there. This year we aspire to camp close to home instead of traveling out of state.

A favorite spot of mine is Sawtooth Lodge in Grandjean. It is an old log cabin lodge with a hot spring fed swimming pool. Next to the south fork of the Payette River. The campground is a little rough, and if you want to use your AC bring your own generator. No cell phone service, but there is a pay phone. It is about 10 miles off the highway on a forest road and is quiet and relaxing.

The sun came out after a couple of snowy days here in Anchorage. Photo taken with a plain old iPhone 6, no filter or processing other than a small crop to get the side of my house out of the shot.

This time of year, we often think back to the past, then contemplate the future with resolutions and determination. In that spirit, this month's theme is about any positive expectation, plan, hope, or desire as it relates to your Airstream. We'll call them Airstream Aspirations. This can be approached from any direction. It may be a photo of a favorite area (think red rocks of Sedona, or vineyards of Sonoma, etc.) you want to visit again this year, or a favorite spot you want to encourage others to visit. It can be a photo of your progress on a restoration that represents your Airstream Aspiration to camp in your project before the end of 2017. It may be the purchase of a new Tow Vehicle or ProPride, or 16" Sendels and Michelins, that represents your plan to tow many miles over the coming year. It can even be that new Airstream you took a selfie with at the dealership as you decide and dream. If an explanation is appropriate, include it. If controversy breaks out over which tires are best or whatever, we'll take all input, as long as the photo includes some part or all of your Airstream.
Good luck and best wishes for a great Airstreaming New Year,
Roy

Thanks, OTRA. You are correct, I'll announce the winner on February 1, to allow any last minute submissions. The entries have been great, and we're looking forward to many more.
dblee,
Also note the tradition is the winner will host next month's contest by choosing the "theme" and picking that month's winner.
Keep them coming, thanks,
Roy
