January Photo Contest
The contest for January.......
Please submit a photo of your Airstream with an interesting background location from your travels. Name the location if you can remember. For instance I have photographed several vintage cars and two trailers over the past 20 years here, on Highway 101 south coast of Oregon. I think it was near Port Orford.
I will be away from the computer (Mexico) 17-26 January. But will be back to close out the contest. I am not familiar with who picks the winner.
I am glad you liked our Christmas Card. Our friends and family did too.

That is south of Port Orford in Arizona Beach. It's a cool little roadside sideshow of life sized dinosaurs!

ERB1 at Arco, Idaho. Site of the first nuclear power plant and a breeder reactor, which uses nuclear fuel in a different and more efficient way than other nuclear reactors.
I have posted this before, but since then found out there were several deaths at the site due to radiation poisoning, possibly homicide as the result of a lover's triangle.
The photo is actually in front of a prototype atomic jet engine which never got off the ground.

The Apache Junction Walmart parking lot at 4:30am after driving all night from the dealership (and fixing a flat tire enroute) to get close to home with the new trailer. I could think of no other place to rest for a few hours.
