January 2015 Photo Contest
We appreciate being selected as winners for the December Photo Contest. We wish everyone a Happy New Year! Since it would be impractical to have a photo contest on what adventures and memories 2015 may bring, we thought it would be appropriate to look back on 2014.
This month's contest theme will be, "Your Favorite 2014 Airstream Moment."
The amateur judging will be based on the scenic beauty of the photo. Extra "points"if the photo contains an Airstream, of course. Feel free to include a brief description of why this was your favorite moment.
Good luck,
Roy and Marie

It's not a high quality photo technically but 2014 was out first year if any sort of RV'ing much less an Airstream and we had a blast!!
This photo was a 3 day weekend trip to Hungry Mother's SP in Marion, VA and my sister and her two girls stayed with my wife and two smaller kids for the weekend and it was simply a blast!
They are tagging along with us again to Tybee Island this June.
Our kids will always remember this I think - I know I would have!
(Wife took the **** so she is not in it )
And then that same weekend seeing family including my grandma who I had not seen in a while and who knows how many times now I'll be able to throw my arm around her.

It is only the second of January and that is a winning photo and story. Really nice. I think that story pretty much captures Airstreaming, in my humble opinion.

Keep the "Favorite 2014 Airstream Moments" coming. These are great!
Thank you terryV and PharmGeek for getting us off to a super start.
It's also fine to have more than one favorite moment, so if you're trying to decide between a first trip or a favorite spot or a favorite sunrise, post them all. It also fun to just go back through your photo archive for the year, looking for the perfect ****.
Sometimes I think they should move the "o" further from the "i" on the keyboard...

First Night in the New Bambi
We picked up our new 2014 Bambi in Chicago, towed it straight to Jackson Center, and spent our first night at the "Mothership"

We started the first 4 days of 2015 living in our Airstream, and closed out 2014 living in it. Here's to more adventures to come!

Open Spaces
This was one of my more memorable moments captured on BLM lands (free camping) just outside of Capital Reef National Park, Utah.

Certainly not your typical best day ever but this was our first camping trip in our AS and although it rained and the wind blew like crazy we were happy and having a great time. This is my first "from the bathroom" photo that I hope to have a large collection of in the years to come.

Kid's and Airstreams-what memories are made of.
This is a friend of mine's trailer and another friend's grandson. Doesn't get much better than this.

At The Legendary Buffalo Chip during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Just happened to catch the Clydesdales walking by going to their trailers. Height of coach to Air Cond is 10'6" and the horse is just about level to the top!
